Review payer requirements and obtain necessary pre-authorizations for diagnostic exams, imaging studies, procedures, and specialty services in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and patients regarding authorization status, coverage limitations, and required documentation. Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with payer guidelines, and proactively resolve authorization issues to prevent delays in patient treatment, scheduling, and reimbursement. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service.Department: CardiologyLocation: KearnyStatus: Full TimeHours: 9am to 5pmJob Essentials: Verifies that pre-certification obtained by ordering physician are completed for the correct exam as well as authorized for the correct site.Education Requirements: High School Graduate or GED required.Minimum rate: 18.50
