nJob Description:
nThis program offers a valuable opportunity for hands-on experience in the automotive industry,working alongside an experienced technician and gaining insight into various aspects of auto body repair. This will be a 30 day trial to qualify for the 18-month Technician Development Program.
nKey Job Responsibilities
nnnAssist in performing basic auto body repairs, including dent removal, sanding, and painting under the supervision of
n
nnexperienced technicians.
n
nnLearn to use and maintain tools and equipment properly to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.
n
nnParticipate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
n
nnCollaborate with team members to complete repair projects within specified timelines and quality standards.
n
nnFollow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
n
n nEducation and/or Experience Required
nnnHigh School Diploma/GED preferred
n
nnTrade/Vocational school graduates preferred
n
nnSome on-the-job experience is preferred
n
nnI-CAR Gold Class preferred
n
n nRequired Skills and Abilities
nnnMust be at least 18 years of age
n
nnMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds
n
nnMust be able to stand for long periods of time in the repair of a vehicle
n
nnMust be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
n
nnMust be able to visually inspect vehicle damage in a variety of weather conditions.
n
nnMust be able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts.
n
nnStrong interest in the automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop technical skills.
n
nnAbility to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
n
nnBasic knowledge of auto body repair techniques and tools is preferred but not required
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
n
nnGood communication skills and a positive attitude toward learning and problem-solving
n
nnReliable transportation to commute to the workplace
n
n nOther Requirements

nnnMentor agrees to accept trainee

nnZero unplanned absences
n
nnZero Tardiness violations
n
nnHas worked with selected mentor for 90% or more of the 30-day time frame
n
nnTrainee passes final Pre-TDP assessment

nnMentor signs training agreement

nCompensation Details:
n$15 - $18 / Hour
nCompensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience.
nSupplemental Pay: This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives
