Preconstruction Manager (Contract) – Inside IR35 Basingstoke Negotiable Day Rate
Location: Basingstoke
Day Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)
Hours: 40 per week
Contract: Ongoing
The Role
As a Preconstruction Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering preconstruction services from tender stage through to handover. You’ll work closely with estimating, commercial, planning, and design teams, ensuring all preconstruction activities are effectively coordinated and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all preconstruction activities from tender issue through to project handover
Collaborate with internal teams across estimating, commercial, planning, and design disciplines
Engage confidently with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to build lasting relationships
Identify and mitigate project risks during the preconstruction phase
Support bid strategy, tender submissions, and proposal development
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Proven preconstruction management experience on projects up to £20m
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills
A full UK driving licence and relevant construction qualifications (HNC/HND/Degree or professional membership)
