Job description
Hydrostatic Pressure TesterThis position is on 2nd shift, working Monday-Thursday from 2:30PM to 1AM ET.Principal Accountabilities:Perform Hydrostatic Pressure Testing on various components to ensure compliance with required quality standards.Perform precision pump assembly and disassembly per bill of materials, cross Sectional Drawings and operation method sheets.Utilize all types of precision measuring equipment and read and interpret blueprints while working in both the English and Metric systemsFits parts such as casings, casing covers, impellers, seals and Installs piping plans to match drawings.Will use hand tools, air tools, sandblaster, parts washer, die grinders and hand drills.Follow all work instructions as trained; including but not limited to Hydrostatic testing procedures, Assembly procedures, Routers, Supplemental Quality Inspections, General Workmanship Standards, etc.Move materials and parts to and from work areas via power lift trucks and fork trucks.Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts.Possess the desire to learn additional job functions within the facility (e.g. Test, Pre-Engineered Assembly, Painting, and Other miscellaneous duties as needed).Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAbility to work in a team oriented and CIP environmentAbility to read and interpret instructions and drawingsAbility to read and comprehend precision measuring equipmentAbility to use a wide variety of hand, power and air toolsAbility to follow complex verbal and written instructionsMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbsAbility to work overtime as requiredGood mechanical ability and manual dexterity is essential (able to stand for long periods of time)Must have a strong work ethic and be able to follow proper safety procedures and guidelines2+ years' experience in general mechanics or specialized training preferredComputer skills preferredThe pay range for this role is $19.99 - $29.96 per hour.Benefits Starting from Day 1:Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (including FSA and HSA options)Life Insurance + Supplemental Life, Child, Spousal, and AD&D InsuranceShort- and Long-Term DisabilityRetirement Planning, 401(k) plan, & Financial Wellness ResourcesEducational Assistance ProgramTime off Policies (including sick leave, parental leave, and paid vacation)Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
