Job description
Quality InspectorDelta Precision Components and its' divisions for Delta Gear and Delta Research is an AS9100, ISO9001, and IATF 16949 registered facility which manufactures precision gear products for the aerospace and automotive industry. We are also a NADCAP approved non-destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch. We currently have an opening for a Quality Inspector. The successful candidate will be required to perform a wide variety of Quality and technical tasks requiring thorough knowledge of manufacturing procedures and practice.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform quality inspections on precision machined products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirementsRead and understand complex blueprints and operational sketches.Utilize various measurement tools and equipment such as coordinate measuring machines, micrometers, calipers, profilometers, optical comparators, height gages, indicators, bore gages, depth mics, and other precision instrumentsConduct quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and proceduresCollect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the quality control processCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actionsFollow established protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in quality assurance processesQualifications:High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree preferred.Previous related experience in quality assurance required, working with precision machined components.Strong blueprint / GD&T knowledge.Strong knowledge of quality systems, quality management principles, and quality control techniques
