Preconstruction Manager / Chief Estimator job in Tampa, FL
This is a permanent, full time position with a great salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities
Build accurate estimates for medium to large mechanical (hvac-wet and dry as well as plumbing systems)
Strengthen relationship with owners, general contractors, subs, and vendors
Sign-off/approve final estimates prior to submittals
Meet with Senior Management Team
Requirements
Large and medium commercial and industrial project experience (10 million+)
10+ years of Estimating experience
Advanced knowledge of OST Estimating software and able to read, redline and interpret 3D Models and CAD drawings
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
Comfortable meeting with owners and general contractors and presenting for upcoming projects
Experience working on Design-Build, Negotiated, and Plan-Spec projects
Preferred
Prior field knowledge
Advanced Florida Plumbing, Piping, Sheet Metal and other mechanical systems and code knowledge
