Job description
A well-established and national general contractor is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join their Scottsdale team. This role will lead the preconstruction process on a variety of commercial projects (largely education, municipal, & healthcare), working closely with clients, design teams, and internal operations from early concept through GMP.
Responsibilities
Lead budgeting, estimating, and cost planning efforts across multiple projects
Manage subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope alignment
Partner with clients, architects, and engineers during design development
Drive value engineering and cost-saving strategies
Support project handoff to operations teams
Qualifications/Requirements
5+ years of preconstruction/estimating experience with a commercial General Contractor - ideally education, municipal and healthcare projects
Strong understanding of commercial construction (ground-up and/or TI)
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and client-facing skills
Able to work in the U.S. without restriction
