Job description
Prep Team MemberAs a Prep Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, assembling menu items, maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards, stocking inventory, and assisting with catering orders to ensure our team delivers high-quality food to our guests.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and assemble a variety of food items, including salads, wraps, fruit cups, and other cold prep itemsWash, chop, and pre-portion fresh produce for daily useStock kitchen inventory, rotate products to ensure freshness, and properly label and store prepped itemsFollow all food safety standards, ensuring proper temperatures and holding timesMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspaceAssist with building and packaging bulk catering ordersManage time effectively, work independently when needed, and contribute positively in a team environmentRequirements:Highly self-directed with strong time management, attention to detail, ability to follow recipes and instructions, and enthusiasm for teamworkPhysical ability to handle the demands of a fast-paced kitchen, including standing for shifts ranging from 3 to 8 hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Comfort with working in hot and cold environments, both inside the kitchen and in storage areas.Ability to handle knives, sharp objects, and operate kitchen equipment safely.Prior experience is not required; however, a Utah Food Handlers Card, ServSafe Certification, or previous kitchen/food handling experience is preferred.Benefits:Highly flexible scheduling with morning shifts starting at 5:30 am and evening shifts until 11 pm.Opportunity for growth within the company.Meal discounts during shifts.Personal and professional development opportunities.Full-time team member benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance.Training:We provide formal training for all new team members as well as ongoing development opportunities to support your growth and success.
