Press Brake Operator – 2nd Shift
Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 2:00 PM–12:30 AM
Champion Personnel is hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. This is an excellent DIRECT HIRE opportunity for someone with metal fabrication and press brake experience who wants a 4-day workweek, competitive pay, and the opportunity for long-term growth.
Schedule
Regular 2nd Shift:
Monday–Thursday
2:00 PM–12:30 AM
Training Schedule – 1st Shift:
Monday–Friday
6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Candidates must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to the regular 2nd shift schedule.
Pay
$24.00 per hour
What You'll Do
Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment
Bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Select and install the appropriate tooling for each job
Make machine adjustments to achieve proper bends, angles, and dimensions
Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance requirements
Identify and troubleshoot basic machine or production issues
Complete required production and quality documentation
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
What We're Looking For
Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience
Experience setting up and operating press brake machinery preferred
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Knowledge of measurements, angles, and tolerances
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
Must be available to complete training on 1st shift
Steel-toe footwear required
