Job description
Press Brake Operator ICadrex is searching for a Press Brake Operator I to set-up and operate metal bending machines (Press Brake) in accordance with quality/quantity standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designerPerform quality inspection/checks per quality documentation/control planMaintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety proceduresIdentify different types of material – Aluminum, 5000 series Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Paint Grip, Galvanneal, and GalvanizedUphold site efficiency standardsLearn and demonstrate continuous improvement for site Safety and Quality standards and proceduresMeet the standards of the site attendance policyAssist in other work areas as assignedPreferred QualificationsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, memos, and simple instructionsKnowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionEducationHigh School diploma.LocationOnsiteScheduleF-Su; 6:00am - 6:00pmWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock.
