Job description
Press Brake OperatorWe are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator with hands-on experience operating Amada or Cincinnati press brakes. This role is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating press brake equipment to fabricate precision metal parts while meeting quality, safety, and production standards.Schedule:Monday - Thursday; 5:00am - 3:30pmWith potential overtime.Key Responsibilities:Set up, program, and operate Amada and Cincinnati press brake machinesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work ordersSelect appropriate tooling and perform accurate machine setupsForm metal parts to tight tolerances and quality specificationsInspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gaugesMake machine adjustments to maintain part accuracy and efficiencyPerform routine maintenance and basic troubleshootingFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaWork closely with supervisors, quality, and engineering teams to meet production goalsAccurately complete production and inspection documentationQualifications:Minimum 2 years of press brake operating experienceProven experience with Amada and Cincinnati press brakesAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsStrong understanding of metal forming processes and materialsProficiency with precision measuring instrumentsBasic math skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPreferred Qualifications:Amada or Cincinnati Machine Operating experienceExperience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environmentKnowledge of tooling selection and bend allowancesLean manufacturing or continuous improvement experiencePhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsManual dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
