Press Brake OperatorWe are looking for an experienced brake press operator/programmer for a metal stamping company.Metal fabrication company specializing in stamping, laser cutting, machining, and welding.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Press Brake Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 21.00 to $ 22.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Operate pressesOperate Fork Lift TrucksInterpret and respond to SPC control chartsComplete production and quality paperworkUse appropriate gages, such as calipers and micrometersVisually inspect production and quality problemsIdentify and report production and quality problemsParticipate in corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement projectsUse all safety aids and devicesReport finished job and request new jobMaintain clean work environmentOther duties as assigned by Plant SuperintendentPress Brake Operator Qualifications:Must have experience with Bysatronics, running and setting up programs based off of printsHigh School Diploma, or G.E. (Preferred)Ability to read and write EnglishAbility to understand verbal and written training material in EnglishAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divideAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions (written or oral).Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
