Press Brake OperatorThis is an on-site position located in Aurora, Ohio. LayerZero Power Systems is on a trajectory of sustained growth, with a loyal customer base of existing Fortune 100 customers and an expanding portfolio of new customers.Position Description:As the Fabrication Machine Operator for the Press Brake at Layer Zero Power Systems, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the press brake machines to bend and shape various types of metal for our products. This role will include preparing, setting up, and adjusting the press brake as required by the product plans and production schedule. It is also vital to ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available. LayerZero Power Systems, LLC. needs a quick learning and ambitious worker to join our team.RequirementsPrimary Duties:Responsible for all aspects of production of parts on press brakeProduction:Machine operationWork with production engineering to pull programs for productionSeparate, label/catalog completed partsMaintenance:Daily start-up & shut-down procedureDaily end-of-day clean-up of machineRegular maintenance of toolsClean & lubricate tooling upon completion of daily productionFloor cleaning in surrounding areaQuality inspecting of parts and materials.Experience & Skills:5+ experience in operation of Press Brake requiredAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings/printsAbility to use measuring instruments such as calipersAbility to understand machine programsAbility to modify machine programsAbility to use PC for basic editing; loggingEducation:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.Why Join Us?
