Press Brake Operators-Direct HireKelly Services is hiring experienced Press Brake Operators for direct-hire opportunities with a growing manufacturing operation in Kearny, NJ. This position is a strong fit for an experienced metal fabrication professional who can independently set up and operate press brake equipment, interpret prints, and produce accurate formed parts to specification.Location: Kearny, NJ Employment Type: Direct Hire2nd Shift: 3:30 PM–12:00 AM Pay: $29.70–$33.00/hr, including shift premium3rd Shift: 11:00 PM–7:30 AM Pay: $32.40–$36.00/hr, including shift premiumWhat You'll Be DoingSet up and operate press brake machinery to bend and form sheet metal componentsSelect and install appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settingsRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, bend specifications, and work instructionsCalculate and verify bend dimensions, angles, and tolerancesLoad and position material safely and accuratelyAdjust machine parameters to achieve required part specificationsPerform first-piece and in-process inspectionsUse calipers, micrometers, gauges, angle measuring tools, and other inspection equipmentIdentify defects and make appropriate machine or tooling adjustmentsTroubleshoot basic equipment and production issuesMaintain accurate production and inspection documentationHandle material and completed parts safelyMaintain a clean, organized work areaFollow all safety, quality, and production proceduresWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience operating press brake equipmentAbility to independently perform machine setup and tooling changesStrong blueprint-reading skillsUnderstanding of bend allowances, angles, tolerances, and metal-forming requirementsExperience using precision measuring instrumentsStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to troubleshoot machine and part-quality issuesAttention to detail and commitment to qualityReliable attendance and ability to work scheduled hoursComfortable working in a fast-paced metal fabrication environmentWhat's OfferedDirect-hire opportunityCompetitive hourly payShift premium included2nd and 3rd shift opportunitiesBenefits packagePaid time offPaid holidays401(k)Tuition reimbursementCareer advancement opportunitiesIf you have hands-on press brake experience and can confidently take a part from print to properly formed finished piece, Kelly wants to hear from you.Apply today for this direct-hire Press Brake Operator opportunity in Kearny, NJ.
