CNC Press Brake Setup Operator - Level II/IIIAs a CNC Press Brake Setup Operator - level II/III, you'll be a key technical contributor on the shop floor - owning complex press brake setups, ensuring quality from first piece to final run, and supporting production through expertise, leadership, and consistency. This role goes beyond operating; it's about precision, problem-solving, and setting standards for press brake operations. We are looking for a true expert to fill this role.A Day in the Life:Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake machines for complex partsRead and interpret detailed blueprints, job orders, and work instructions to ensure accurate productionSelect tooling, calculate bend allowances, and optimize setups for quality and efficiencyVerify part accuracy using precision measuring toolsPerform visual inspections to ensure parts meet specificationsStage materials and maintain accurate job documentationCollaborate with production teams to meet schedules and delivery goalsTrain and mentor Level I and Level II operatorsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaYou're a Great Fit If You:Have strong CNC press brake setup and operation experience in metal stampingCan confidently read and interpret complex blueprintsTake pride in precision, quality, and first-pass successTroubleshoot forming issues independentlyCommunicate well and lead by examplePrioritize safety and consistencyRequired Skills & Experience:Advanced CNC press brake setup and operation skillsStrong attention to detail and mechanical aptitudeProven problem-solving ability5+ years of metal fabrication or related manufacturing experience preferred; the more experience the betterHigh school diploma or GED preferredPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 lbs occasionallyVisual acuity and manual dexterity for precision workWhy Work with Us?Join a skilled manufacturing team where your expertise directly impacts quality, production success, and team development.
