Sheet Metal Fabrication ProfessionalPay: $18-$25/hourSeeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication professional to operate and program CNC press brake and fiber laser equipment. This role involves fabricating precision sheet metal components, interpreting blueprints, verifying tolerances, and ensuring high-quality production standards. Candidates with strong fabrication experience, CNC aptitude, and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:Program and operate CNC press brake equipmentProgram and operate fiber laser cutting machinesLaser cut, bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components to specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication layoutsMeasure, inspect, and verify completed parts meet required tolerancesUtilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, angle gauges, optical comparators, and CMMsUnderstand and apply sheet metal bending principles and tolerancesAssist with material handling, staging, and production support as neededMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environmentQualifications:Previous sheet metal fabrication experience requiredExperience operating or programming CNC press brakes and/or fiber laser equipment preferredAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings and GD&TStrong mathematical and measurement skillsExperience with quality inspection processes and precision measuring toolsComfortable using computers, touchscreens, and PC-based applicationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityWillingness and ability to learn new equipment and programming processesPreferred Experience:CNC press brake programming and operationFiber laser programming and operationBlueprint reading and fabrication layout interpretationQuality control and dimensional inspection
