Job description
Press Operator 2Press Operator 2 performs advanced production processes in either Axial or ISO/TVP. Operator works more independently and is required to hit 80% of the production rate.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Fully trained to set up either Axial or ISO/TVPFully trained to run either Axial or ISO/TVPEnsures parts are in tolerance using a micrometerExpected to hit 80% of Production Rate.Is proficient with EpicorMaintains housekeeping standards.Maintains Autonomous Maintenance StandardsFollow all safety and quality standards.Ensure cleanliness of work area.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.1-2 years of manufacturing experience.Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers).Ability to read and interpret part prints.Basic troubleshooting skills.Successful Essential Behaviors:Action-oriented and independent with a heightened sense of urgency to work at a quick pace.Demonstrates creativity in problem-solving and making connections among different ideas.Maintains high standards of accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.Collaborative team player who supports and assists colleagues effectively.Upholds organizational values and exhibits integrity in all aspects of work.Committed to continuous improvement and personal development.Demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude toward achieving goals.Work Environment and Physical Demands:Works in a clean, well-lit production environment; requires protective footwear and eyewear.Regularly stands on cement floors with rubber mats; may involve sitting, stooping, bending, and walking.Capable of lifting and transporting an average weight of 10 lbs., up to a maximum of 40 lbs.Requires manual dexterity and near visual acuity.Ability to understand verbal instructions and comply with quality and safety regulations.1st Shift - Monday through Friday 6:30 am -3:00 pm ; 2nd Shift - Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm -1:30 am 1st Shift - 40 hours ; 2nd Shift - 40 hours
