The company has been producing quality metal components for nearly 40 years and operates presses ranging up to 100 tons.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Press Operator - Days Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.51 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)Operate and set up punch presses and related production equipmentFeed raw materials, adjust machine settings, and troubleshoot basic issuesInspect finished parts for quality and ensure they meet specificationsLabel, box, count, and record finished parts accuratelyPress Operator - Days Qualifications:Previous machine operation or manufacturing experienceStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workdayComfortable standing and working in a loud metal production environmentReliable attendance and ability to work independently after trainingApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
