Press OperatorOur client, manufacturing team is seeking a Press Operator to join their team. As a Press Operator, you will be part of the production floor supporting quality-focused manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, the ability to follow detailed work instructions, and a drive to produce parts that meet customer specifications—every shift.Location: South Bend, INPay Range: $20-$25/hour (Based on Experience)Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMWhat's the Job?Operate press equipment safely and efficiently to meet production goals.Set up and run production jobs according to work instructions and specifications.Perform visual and dimensional inspections to confirm parts meet requirements.Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.Interpret and respond to SPC (Statistical Process Control) data and control charts, and report quality, production, or equipment issues.What's Needed?Previous press operator experience is required.Experience operating Bystronic equipment is highly preferred.Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.Understanding of quality inspection processes and production documentation.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.What's in it for me?Competitive pay of $20-$25/hour (based on experience).Stable 1st shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with overtime available.Opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment.Long-term career opportunity with a growing company.A role where your attention to detail directly impacts quality and customer specifications.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
