This opportunity is based on a Press Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.Experience RequirementsAbility to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.Job DutiesOperate extrusion press equipment in the stick electrode manufacturing process.Perform quality inspections throughout your shift to ensure products meet specifications.Use scanners and other production tools to track materials and production activity.Safely handle materials and finished products.Maintain a clean and safe work area while meeting production goals.Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that may be hot, dirty, and physically demanding.Preferred QualificationsPrevious manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Press operator.Physical CapabilitiesComfortable working in a hot industrial environment.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout an 8+ hour shift.Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Manufacturing Environment with opportunities for advancement and skill development.4.9 Stars from the Crew That Gets It Done 98% say we make it easy to find good work.
