Press Set-Up OperatorOsborne Coinage is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Set-Up Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality materials, while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of layout design, quality control and various printing techniques; making it essential for candidates to possess a blend of technical skills and creative flair.Essential Job DutiesOperate and maintain blanking and coining presses to produce high-quality printed materialsSet up and manage blanking operations from raw material to finished productMonitor and maintain press speeds at 400 strokes per minute (SPM)Conduct quality control checks throughout the blanking and coining process to ensure consistency and accuracyCollaborate with the design team to understand layout requirements and implement color management techniquesPartner with Maintenance to perform scheduled preventive maintenanceTroubleshoot any issues that arise during the blanking and coining process and perform necessary adjustmentsAccurately maintain and enter daily production data in AcumaticaAdhere to all company and OSHA safety protocol, including maintaining an organized, clean work environment and wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all timesUtilize Adobe Creative Suite for design adjustments and modificationsAssist in fabricating print advertising materials, as neededQualificationsHigh School Diploma / G.E.D. and 2+ years experience (preferred); OR 3+years related experience in lieu of diploma / G.E.D.Screen printing and print advertising experienceTool and die changeover on a printing pressStrong knowledge of layout design and color management techniquesFamiliar with CNC operationsStrong problem-solving skills; troubleshoot equipment issuesOperate a forkliftWork ConditionsFactory setting / Production facility with machinery and equipment, and mobile equipment such as forklifts.Elevated noise levelsWalk, talk, hear and standing for long periods of timeUse hands, fingers, handle, feel and reach with hands and armsSit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawlOccasionally lift up to 50 poundsBenefitsHealth InsuranceLife Insurance401(k) with company matchPaid Time OffProfit Sharing
