Whether you're an experienced professional, a recent college graduate or somewhere in between, IDEX is a place where you can apply your existing skills and learn new ones in an environment where you can make an impact.With interesting opportunities in engineering, marketing, sales, supply chain, operations, HR, finance, and more across more than 40 diverse businesses around the globe, chances are, we have something special for you.Key Responsibilities:Set up of various (single level) compaction pressesRunning and monitoring of 3 Ton presses; in process inspection and adjustment, tray loading, furnace operation & monitoring powder levelsPerform first piece, in-process and final inspection steps including visual sorting, flow testing, length, OD, Burr, etc.Meeting tight production requirements across long running production & reacting in real time to stay within the requirementsAbility to switch between the 2 roles / pitches in the cell on a daily basisEmbracing a value stream approach in the role; ability to execute the entire process from setup through pressing and inspection.Expected Performance Outcomes:Required Experience:Ability to set up and run compaction presses.Perform 2 – 3 set-ups per shift when necessary.Operate multiple presses or inspection equipment at the same time.High School Diploma or equivalent1 –3 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentPrevious press setup experience (preferred)Technical Knowledge/Skills:Mechanical aptitudeExcellent mathematical aptitudeKnowledge of tools and gaugesBlueprint readingBasic computer skillsExhibits Core ValuesCurios mindsetAbility to work independent as well as part of a teamStrong communication skillsAre you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?Total RewardsThe compensation range for this position is $48,000.00 - $72,000.00, depending on experience.
