Pricing & Operations Representative – Air DepartmentLocation: Houston, TX - In OfficeEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are building an overnight operations team and are seeking experienced Pricing & Operations Representatives to support our Air Department across evening and night shifts. This role sits at the intersection of pricing and execution, requiring someone who can quote accurately, coordinate actively, and communicate clearly in a fast moving, time critical environment.Shift: Wed / Thu / Fri / Sat / Sun 22:30 to 05:30 | Days off: Mon and TueKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver accurate freight pricing for air shipments, ensuring competitiveness and margin awarenessCoordinate international and domestic air freight shipments from booking through deliveryCommunicate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure on time performance and service qualityManage shipment documentation, customs paperwork, and regulatory complianceMonitor active shipments, resolve exceptions, and provide proactive updates to customers and stakeholdersMaintain accurate records within company systems, ensuring data integrity and timely updatesSupport operations leadership with daily tasks, reporting, and process improvement initiativesUphold Sciens' standards for speed, precision, and reliability on every shipmentQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on air freight operations or pricingStrong understanding of global logistics, documentation, and compliance requirementsAbility to build and present competitive freight quotes with accuracy and speedExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer focused mindsetHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility and willingness to work overnight shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a 24/7 operationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CargoWiseEnglish is a must and Spanish is a plusWhat Matters to YouCompetitive compensation reflecting your experience and expertiseA team that moves fast and values people who take initiativeClear path for growth as we scale our overnight operations teamThe opportunity to be part of building something from the ground upOur comprehensive package of benefits includes:Medical | Dental | Vision | Basic Life and AD&D Insurance | Paid Time Off | 401KReady to build something?
