Ellis Medicine is seeking a Primary Care Advanced Practitioner to join our McClellan Street primary care practice in Schenectady, NY.
nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan and wants to become part of a collaborative, community-focused primary care practice.
nOur Schenectady practice serves a diverse patient population that includes both children and adults. The practice offers an established patient population, dedicated clinical support, and an opportunity for an APP to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with patients and families.
nPosition Highlights
nnnJoin an established primary care practice

nnProvide comprehensive healthcare services got patients of all ages
n
nnEstablished walk-in clinic
n
nnCall is rotated between all primary care providers within our system
n
nnOpportunity to practice broad-spectrum primary care in a community-based setting
n
nnEstablished patient population and referral network
n
nnSupport from the broader Ellis Medicine health system and specialty network
n
n nClinical Responsibilities
nnnProvide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
n
nnDiagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
n
nnEstablish and maintain long-term relationships with patients and families
n
nnPerform preventive health examinations and routine health screenings
n
nnManage chronic conditions and coordinate appropriate specialty care
n
nnCollaborate with nursing and clinical support staff to provide efficient, patient-centered care
n
nnCoordinate care with Ellis Medicine specialists and other members of the patient's care team
n
n nQualifications
nnnCurrent NP or PA certification
n
nnLicensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State
n
nnPrimary Care experience preferred but not required
n
nnStrong clinical judgment and communication skills
n
nnAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
nnCommitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
n

nnnCompetitive Salary of $136,842 with the ability to earn additional compensation through productivity
n
nnThe posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
