Job description

Primary Care Physician Opportunity

Mass General Brigham relies on a wide range of professionals, including doctors, nurses, business people, tech experts, researchers, and systems analysts to advance our mission. As a not-for-profit, we support patient care, research, teaching, and community service, striving to provide exceptional care. We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.

The community division of Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Primary Care physician to join our newly formed Float team. Float physicians are not responsible for attributed patients, rather this flexible, dynamic role offers short-term panel management coverage for clinicians on leave and patients without established care. This is an ideal opportunity for physicians who thrive on caring for diverse patient populations across a variety of practice settings.

Minimum of 3 years of primary care experience.

Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med-Peds.

Minimum 20-hour commitment per week.

Eligible to work in Massachusetts.

Willingness to travel throughout the Pioneer Valley.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for patient-centered, high-quality care.

Technologically adept and comfortable with diverse patient populations and clinical settings.

Key Highlights:

Flexible Role: Ideal for physicians seeking variety in their practice, with the ability to travel throughout the Pioneer Valley area.

Support: You'll work closely with a supportive team for in-basket coverage and have streamlined access to specialists across the Mass General Brigham network, including Brigham and Women's and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Career Growth: Access to ongoing medical education, career development resources, and competitive salary and benefits.

Mass General Brigham Medical Group is a member of Mass General Brigham, a leading, integrated healthcare system consisting of 16 member institutions, including top-tier academic centers, specialty and community hospitals, and a broad network of urgent and community care locations. Our 1,180+ physicians and 534 Advanced Practitioners provide exceptional care across 78 locations in Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
