Job description

AssociatesMD was founded in 2007 with the flagship location in Davie, Florida. AssociatesMD is dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate medical care that caters to unique needs of each individual.

AssociatesMD offers a wide range of medical services designed to address various healthcare needs. From routine check-ups and preventative care from primary care physicians, to specialized consultations in cardiology and nutrition, the medical group is equipped to handle a variety of medical conditions. Our patient centered-approach ensures that each patient is actively involved in their healthcare decisions, and AssociatesMD works collaboratively to develop personalized treatment plans.

Are you looking to put down roots and get back to the heart of medicine? Ready to move away from the "hamster wheel" and focus on building lasting relationships with your patients and their families?

We are looking for a dedicated Bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Medicine Physician to join our high-performing team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This isn’t just a high-volume clinic; it’s a community-centered practice where we believe in treating the whole person, not just a list of symptoms. We are looking for someone who wants to know their patients by name, watch the panel grow and still be here in ten years!

Care for the Generations of South Florida

Our practice is a genuine reflection of the community we call home. As a Family Medicine physician here, you will have the opportunity to serve as the primary advocate for a diverse patient population, including a significant and vibrant representation from the Spanish-speaking and Caribbean-American communities that make Fort Lauderdale so unique.

We understand that in South Florida, family is everything. That’s why bilingualism and cultural competency are at the core of what we do—allowing us to build the trust necessary to care for families across generations.

Why Our Practice?

A True Family Atmosphere: Join a collaborative team that supports one another like family. Our environment is designed to be supportive, not stressful.

Work-Life Balance for Your Own Family: This is an outpatient-only role with zero hospital rounding. We respect your time so you can be present for your own family when the workday is over.

Comprehensive Specialty Support: Benefit from in-house Cardiology and seamless access to specialists, making it easy to coordinate the best possible care for your patients.

Modern Tools, Traditional Values: We use tech-forward workflows and AI-driven tools to handle the paperwork, so you can spend your time where it matters most: face-to-face with your patients.

Elite Admin Support: Our robust administrative team handles the heavy lifting—from scheduling to prior auths—freeing you up to focus on clinical excellence.

Who You Are

Board-Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Active Florida medical license

Working knowledge of managed care, including quality metrics, HEDIS measures and risk adjustment.

Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive care.

A physician who values diversity and enjoys the variety of cases that come with a community-based family practice.

Genuine interest in long-term patient relationships and panel ownership.

Someone who thrives in a collaborative, tech-enabled environment but never loses sight of the "human touch" in healthcare.

If you’re ready to practice in a supportive environment that respects your expertise and your commitment to family medicine, I’d love to talk.
