Role Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive medical care to individuals and families throughout all life stages—from children to seniors.
Address chronic conditions, preventive care, urgent health issues, and mental health concerns, all framed by a patient-centered approach.
Perform physical examinations, assess diagnostic tests, and create tailored treatment strategies.
Collaborate with care coordinators, mental health experts, and specialists to ensure a holistic perspective on care.
Engage in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient results and operational effectiveness.
Employ electronic medical records (EMR) for meticulous patient documentation.
Provide healthcare services both in person and via telehealth to meet diverse patient preferences.
Education Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.
Completion of a recognized Family Medicine residency training program.
Certifications
Board Certification in Family Medicine.
Must be eligible for (or currently possess) an active medical license in Texas.
BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
