Job Details: Job Location: GA, Buford - Phillips State Prison - Buford, GA 30519, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: Professional Degree, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Medical Physician & Advanced Practice Provider, Since 1997, Centurion has proudly partnered with the Georgia Department of Corrections to provide mental health services. We are excited to announce that we will now also be expanding our services to include medical care. Centurion is activelyseeking a Site Medical Director at Phillips State Prisonlocatedin Buford, Ga.
TheMedical Directorprovides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Qualifications
A clinically interesting, diverse patient population in a secure and structured setting
Freedom from insurance, coding and reimbursement hassles
Ability to spend time with your patients. No more cancellations or “no shows”
Salary is consistent and is not based on patient volume
Providers are not required to sign employment contracts or non-compete agreements
Active and unrestricted Physician medical license or the ability to obtain one required
Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
Ability to pass credentialing and background check
