A reputable nationwide healthcare organization is urgently seeking a compassionate Board-Certified Family Medicine physician to join their team as a Primary Care MD at a renowned nursing home in Bronx, NY.
Responsibilities
In this part-time role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to nursing home residents. Your duties will include:
Conducting thorough physical examinations and assessments,
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies,
Diagnosing and managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions,
Collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver coordinated, holistic care, and
Advocating for patients' needs and empowering them to take an active role in their health.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
Board certification in Family Medicine,
An active NY state medical license,
A minimum of 3 years of experience including primary care, LTC, and ventilation, and
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
