What You Will Do
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, ordering diagnostic tests and developing personalized care strategies
Identify and treat acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or working autonomously as permitted
Educate patients and their families on wellness practices, preventative care, and chronic illness management
Prescribe medications and therapies compliant with your professional scope
Engage in chronic care management and patient follow-ups
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care
Maintain accurate and thorough records using electronic medical systems (EMR)
Education Requirements
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
A current Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
