nJob Summary
nWe are seeking an experienced Primary Care/Internist/Family Practice Physician to join our team! We serve a large LQBTQ community but not limited to and have a wide variety of patients. You will be assessing their needs, ordering or performing tests, interpreting results, and offering diagnoses, prescriptions, and referrals, as needed. In addition, you will be managing patient reporting and charting, and assisting Nurse Practitioners as needed with difficult cases. The ideal candidate has experience working in a clinical office setting, can multitask efficiently, and has an excellent bedside manner.
nResponsibilities
nOffer medical advice and service to all clients in our office practice, including diagnosing issues and illnesses, prescribing appropriate medications, and offering referrals as needed to other specialists.
nTreating general medicine issues such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anxiety, and depression.
nTreat HIV, prescribe PREP, DOXY PEP, treat STIs, and prescribe HRT as indicated.
nProvide a safe space for patient care for our community and all communities.
nOrder or perform tests as needed, and analyze results in a timely manner to offer diagnosis
nManage a reasonable patient caseload while providing exceptional care
nProperly complete all appropriate paperwork for each patient seen and maintain accurate records
nAssist in reviewing additional patient charts as needed and offer medical assistance or advice
nQualifications
nAll licensing and certification required to perform medicine within the state
nGraduation from an accredited Medical School
nStrong attention to detail
nThe ability to provide exceptional care to each and every patient
