n nPrimary Responsibilities:

nnnExamines, diagnoses, and treats patients for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses

n

nnCounsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions or concerns

n

nnFormulates diagnostic and treatment plans

n

nnPrescribes and administers medications, therapies, and procedures

n

nnOrders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow up

n

nnCoordination of care with specialists and appropriate ancillary services

n

nnCompletes all documentation in a timely manner

n

nnMaintains quality of care standards as defined by the practice

n

nRequired Qualifications:

nnnM.D or D.O.

n

nnBoard Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

n

nnActive unrestricted license to practice medicine in South Carolina or be willing to obtain

n

nnCurrent DEA

n

nnExperience using MS Word, Outlook, and Excel

n

n nThe salary range for this role is $226,000 to $366,000 per year. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
