Job description
The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive health care services to patients within the scope of their license. This role involves performing routine examinations, diagnostic testing, assessments and screenings, prescribing treatments, and instructing patients and family members on general health conditions and treatment options, as well as other duties as assigned.
nMinimum Requirements:
nnnGraduation for an accredited medical school as a Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
n
nnLicensed as a Primary Care Physician by the state in which the provider is practicing.
n
nnBoard Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related field by a nationally accredited medical organization (e.g., American Board of Family Medicine - ABFM, American Board of Internal Medicine - ABIM) is preferred unless required by contract.
n
nnSpecialty Certification as per client request and/or state regulations if applicable.
n
nnOne year of experience as a Primary Care Physician preferred.
n
nnRole may require collaboration with advanced practitioners per state/facility requirements.
n
nnCurrent CPR if applicable
n
nnTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
n
nnCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
n
nnMust meet all federal, state and local requirements
n
nnMust be at least 18 years of age
n
nnComplies with all relevant professional standards of practice under licensure and scope.
