Job description
A well-renowned healthcare organization in New York State is looking to add a licensed Family Medicine and/or Internal Medicine Physician to their Primary Care team at an outpatient practice in Rockland County.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Outpatient
Patient Population: Adults
Patient Volume: 15 to 20 patients per day
Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage various aspects of their patients' medical needs
Evaluate patients' symptoms, medical history, and perform physical examinations to diagnose illnesses accurately
Advise patients on maintaining a healthy diet, exercising, getting vaccinations, and managing risk factors like smoking, alcohol consumption, and stress
Manage chronic conditions, adjust treatment plans, and provide guidance on how to effectively manage these ongoing health issues
Educate patients about their health conditions, medications, and treatment plans
Perform regular health check-ups to monitor patients' overall health status
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for their patients
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: License to practice Medicine in the State of New York
Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
Desired Qualifications: Bilingual (English and Spanish)
