nPosition Summary
nCentral Maine Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join an established outpatient practice in Topsham, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to practice outpatient-only primary care in a supportive, community-focused environment while being part of a growing healthcare network.
nPhysicians will provide comprehensive care to adult and family medicine patients while collaborating with specialists and hospital-based providers within the Central Maine Healthcare system.

nCentral Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. The system includes Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, a 250-bed, not-for-profit regional referral hospital that is home to the region's only Cancer Care Center, an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center, and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute. nResponsibilities
nnnProvide comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic primary care
n
nnManage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
n
nnConduct routine physical exams and wellness visits
n
nnCoordinate care with specialists and hospital services
n
nnMaintain accurate documentation in the EMR
n
nnParticipate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
n
nnCollaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
n
n nQualifications
nnnMD or DO from an accredited medical school
n
nnBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
n
nnEligible for Maine medical licensure
n
nnDEA certification or eligibility
n
nnStrong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

n nPay Transparency
nCentral Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $278,000 to $335,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
