Job description
**Position Overview:**
- **Role:** Full-time, hospital-employed position in a Rural Health Center.
- **Team Composition:** 1 Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) and 1 Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- **Operating Hours:** Monday to Thursday, ; Friday, .
**Education and Experience Requirements:**
- **Board Status:** Family Medicine board eligibility or certification required.
- **Experience:** Open to newly trained as well as practicing physicians.
- **Licensure:** Must hold an active Indiana Medical License.
- **Certifications:** Continuous maintenance of BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is mandatory.
**Candidate Specifications:**
- **Licensure:** Active Indiana State License or International Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- **Board Certification:** Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible; certification is required to be obtained within five years of completing residency.
- **Experience:** No minimum years of experience are mandated.
- **Certifications Needed:** ACLS is required if applying for conscious sedation privileges; BLS is essential for all specialties
.
