Job description
We are seeking a Principal Technology Architect / Senior Java Developer with 10+ years of experience in Java, Microservices, API development, and automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and automated testing frameworks, along with the ability to lead project delivery, manage teams, and communicate effectively with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable Java backend applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven services using Kafka.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
Create automated test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, and REST Assured.
Ensure application quality through automated testing, code reviews, and quality engineering practices.
Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to development and QA teams.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver project solutions.
Lead project deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality execution.
Manage and mentor team members while coordinating technical activities.
Identify and resolve technical issues and ensure adherence to development and quality standards.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in Java development.
Strong experience with Microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and API development.
Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture.
Strong automation experience.
Experience with Selenium, TestNG, and REST Assured.
Experience developing UI, API, and backend automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of software development and testing practices.
Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Experience with team management and project delivery.
