Job description
We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant / Business Analyst with strong expertise in business analysis, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and digital transformation within the Energy, Oil & Gas, and sustainability domains. The ideal candidate will support the development and enhancement of a Bio Low Carbon platform, translating business requirements into scalable digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead business requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design for the Bio Low Carbon platform.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to understand business needs and define functional requirements.
Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), and process flow diagrams.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.
Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and recommend process optimization and automation opportunities.
Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, Agile ceremonies, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Perform data analysis using SQL and support business reporting and analytics through Power BI.
Use Azure DevOps to manage backlogs, user stories, tasks, defects, and sprint activities.
Support system integrations, API requirements, data mapping, and digital transformation initiatives.
Contribute to regulatory reporting, sustainability initiatives, and low-carbon business processes.
Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
Prepare documentation, track project progress, and communicate risks, dependencies, and business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in business analysis, requirements management, and Agile delivery.
Strong experience with stakeholder management and cross-functional team collaboration.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Power BI, and SQL.
Expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and solution design.
Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, and process flow diagrams.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and backlog management.
Experience with data analysis, reporting, data mapping, and system integrations.
Familiarity with APIs and digital transformation programs.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
