Job description

Travel : Yes, 10% of the time.
The position requires a basic understanding of DoD Contracting, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player, proactive, possess good analytical skills, demonstrate problem‑solving skills, and be detail‑oriented.
Responsibilities
Interface with external customers and internal business partners, conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
Examine proposal requirements and estimates, prepare bids, analyze terms and conditions to evaluate risk, accuracy, and completeness to provide proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
Process contractual documentation and reports, advise management of contractual rights and obligations, compile and analyze data, and maintain historical information.
Facilitate proper shipment, billing, and payment collection for deliveries, interfacing with DCMA or customer as required via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF).
Make decisions in a timely manner under tight deadlines and pressure.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant professional contracts experience; OR Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant professional contracts experience.
Will consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Active security clearance at the time of application.
Experience negotiating and administering various contract types, specifically with the DoD.

Salary
Primary level salary range: $77,000.00 – $115,600.00.
