Job description
Amentum seeks a Principal Database Engineer to serve as the technical anchor for the database administration team on the IRES contract with MDA. You will coordinate across DBAs, developers, and admins to design secure, scalable data solutions and guide cloud and container adoption.
The role requires hands-on work with Oracle, DB2, Cassandra, MongoDB, and SQL, plus cloud (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker). DoW Secret clearance is required.
