Position Summary

Principal Electrical Engineer – Production Hardware (Tucson, AZ). Onsite role requiring U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. 3rd Shift (11pm‑8am) with less than 10% annual travel.

What You Will Do

Drive program execution including cost, schedule, and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle.

Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog, RF hardware and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.

Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve concurrence and resolve issues during production, testing, and integration.

Provide technical oversight, direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, and preparation of detailed technical team reports.

What You Will Learn

Knowledge of electrical components, circuit card assemblies, RF, analog, digital and mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis.

RTX Core Certification and Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) training.

Qualifications

Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Experience with RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis, laboratory equipment, and leading technical projects.

Preferred: Root‑cause corrective action investigations; electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic sub‑systems; experience with Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, and other simulation tools; familiarity with missile communication transceivers, IMU, and GPS receiver subsystems; statistical process control; technical writing and presentation skills.
