Job description
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Wastewater Project Engineer for our Albuquerque office. As part of our design and process teams, you will be involved with a wide range of wastewater infrastructure projects. This will encompass all phases of design, including conceptual/feasibility evaluations, project management, preparation of design reports, permitting, development of construction drawings and specifications, and support of construction services.

Key Responsibilities
Support the development of technical treatment strategies, selection of treatment processes, developing process design criteria, and delivering projects
Support coordination and collaboration with clients
Coordination with internal technical specialists in all practice areas and discipline design professionals for project delivery.
Support planning, design, permitting, and construction of wastewater-related projects.
Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to effectively meet the client’s needs
Candidate shall also be able to support preparation of proposals and presentations
Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering
PE license
5-10 years of experience in the field of wastewater-related infrastructure, including project engineering/management (planning, design, and construction)
Experience in successfully delivering supporting projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient in all MS Office based computer software Preferred Qualifications
Master’s in Civil/Environmental Engineering
