Principal Full Stack EngineerWe are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance applications across the entire technology stack. This role requires deep expertise in modern web technologies, cloud architecture (AWS), and leadership in driving technical excellence. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can architect solutions, mentor team members, and ensure best practices in software development.The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.8+ years of experience in full stack development, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role.Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Java, Python).Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation).Experience working with relational database technologies (Postgres / Oracle)Knowledge of mock frameworks and service virtualization preferredExperience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Proven understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end solutions across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure.Architect and optimize AWS-based cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and cost efficiency.Develop high-quality, maintainable code using modern frameworks and languages (React, Angular, Node.js, Java, Python, etc.).Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver robust and user-friendly applications.Mentor and guide engineering teams, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and architecture.Ensure compliance with security standards and implement monitoring and observability solutions.Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to architecture and processes.High levels of engagement at the team and group levels; Desire to learn and impact outside your primary tasking.Ability to communicate optimally with both technical and business stakeholdersExperience in designing, implementing, or maintaining systems that support Term Life Insurance operations such as policy administration, underwriting and claims processing is a plus.
