Responsibilities:
Architect and design high-power AC and DC systems for consumer and commercial EV chargers.
Collaborate with engineers to develop high-power AC to DC and DC to DC converters.
Design advanced soft switching multi-level converters and grid-tie inverters compliant with regulations.
Oversee all aspects of product design including modeling, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and thermal design.
Utilize various power topologies and modeling tools to create efficient designs.
Work with cross-functional teams to resolve design and testing challenges.
Ensure product reliability under stress conditions.
Qualifications:
M.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Electronics); PhD preferred.
10+ years of experience in power electronics product development.
Strong electrical/electronic design skills and understanding of system-level engineering tradeoffs.
Experience in AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion systems.
Skills:
Ability to drive solutions across software, mechanical, power, and thermal domains.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and testing.
Current knowledge of industry standards for consumer and industrial products.
Familiarity with EV charging standards is a plus.
