We are seeking a Propellant & Energetics Engineer who will develop, mix, test and quality solid propellants includingAP based booster grains
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Duties:
Formulate and mix AP/HTPB Propellants
Develop fuels for air-breathing combustors
Perform rheology, cure kinetics,mechanical property testing
Support casting trials, vacuum degassing, tooling development
Manage lab safety, ATF/OSHA compliance, and traceability
Requirements:
B. xhqgsiq S./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or Energetics.
10+ years experience in solid propellant development
Hands-on mixing/casting experience
Knowledge of metal fuel combustion
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in ducted rocket fuels or metallized ramjet formulations
Experience scaling bath size or optimizing cure cycles
