What You Will Do

Radar Development Requirements Development

Functional Allocation

Maintenance Modeling Simulation

Analysis Integration & Test of Radar Hardware and Software Flight Tests and Performance Analysis Radar System Sell-Off

Qualifications

Experience as a Systems Engineer including two or more of the following: requirements, design; specification development, modeling, simulation, or performance analysis; HW/ SW integration and test and verification

Experience in a technical leadership position

We Prefer Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree

Experience with radar design, modeling/simulation, hardware/software integration, test and verification

Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, radar and/or EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture

Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets

Experience working on a team and by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefings

Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements and competing priorities.

Strong technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management tools

EVMS experience

Experience with Agile principles and methodologies

Experience with Jira and Confluence

SAFe Product Owner certification or related industry certification

Experience developing proposals (i.e., developing TINA compliant Basis of Estimates)

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. This role is located onsite in Fullerton, CA. The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
