Roles And Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of the configuration of the products or systems being developed, integrated, and delivered to the government.
Developing and implementing configuration management plans, processes, and procedures in accordance with government regulations and contract requirements, such as the FAR and DFARS.
Work closely with program manager, technical teams, and other stakeholders to identify, document, and control changes to the configuration, manage the baselines, and ensure that all configuration items are properly identified, tracked, and accounted for throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsible for conducting audits and assessments to ensure compliance with configuration management requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time for the company to meet it's business needs
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; or a master’s degree with 3 years of related experience
Requires 2 years' experience in leadership or management role
Requires experience working with Air Force ICBM configuration management processes and procedures
Requires experience working with systems engineering and engineering drawing practices
Requires experience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is highly desirable
Certified Configuration Manager (CCM) or Certified Professional in Configuration Management (CPCM) certification
Minuteman III Weapon System Knowledge and Experience
Experience in sustainment program

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
