Job description
Role:
Principal Toxicologist leading nonclinical safety programs within Regeneron's Drug Safety and Pharmacometrics team, supporting drug development across diverse therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities:
develop regulatory risk assessments, oversee and interpret nonclinical safety studies, collaborate on program planning and budgeting, provide scientific guidance on toxicology strategies, communicate safety data to stakeholders, author regulatory submissions, and mentor junior staff.
Requirements:
PhD or DVM in Toxicology or related field plus 5+ years (PhD) or 15+ years (Master's) industry experience; proven expertise in nonclinical safety assessment, CRO oversight, and global regulatory requirements (FDA, ICH, EMEA); experience supporting Ophthalmology, Oncology, or Infectious Diseases programs preferred.
