Production Facility OperatorZelis Healthcare is growing and expanding, and we're launching a state-of-the-art Production Facility in Tempe, AZ! This facility processes and mails over 1.4 million packages daily for more than 500 clients, making it a vital hub in our mission to transform healthcare communications.The Print, Insert & Mail Production Operators will be responsible for the setup, operation, and basic maintenance of production equipment to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with job specifications and quality standards. These roles monitor production output, troubleshoots issues, performs preventative maintenance, and completes required documentation accurately and on time. The Operators adhere to all standard operating procedures, HIPAA, compliance, safety, and environmental guidelines while collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.Positions are open for 1st and 2nd shifts:1st Shift - 6 am - 2 pm2nd Shift - 2 pm - 10 pmWhat You'll Do:Set up equipment at the beginning of each job according to specifications provided on the job ticket.Safely and efficiently operate the equipment.Recognizes when the output is not meeting job specification.Troubleshoots equipment problems and makes adjustments as required to return output to the proper job specificationPerforms daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment outlined by manufacturerCompletes all paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerAccurately tracks time on each job if requested.Notifies Production Supervisor of any quality issues, spoilage or reprints that are required.Follows all standard operating procedures and instructions relevant to the job, position and department accurately.Follows established HIPAA, Compliance & Security policies & department policies, procedures, work instructions and safety and environmental guidelines.Assist postproduction (QC & Warehouse) departments as needed to ensure all intended ship dates are met.Communicate effectively with Production SupervisorMaintain a positive and productive relationship with co-workers and others with whom the position may have contact.Willingness to work as a team member and help where needed to ensure maximum process efficiency.Cross trained on all roles and responsibilities within the production facilityOther duties as assigned.What You'll Bring To Zelis:High School diploma or equivalent GED required (or equivalent experience)2+ years' experience in a production environment preferredAble to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsMust have basic computer skills (data entry, etc.).Strong mechanical aptitude preferredPhysical Factors & Requirements:Frequent bending and stoopingStand for long periods of timeAble to lift up to 50lbsReliable transportation to and from workUse standard office equipmentMust be able to maintain good attendanceMust be willing to work overtime as needed, significant overtime is required during busy periods (Oct - Jan)Please note at this time we are unable to proceed with candidates who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.Equal Employment Opportunity Zelis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
