Kelly® is looking for a Print Machine Operator to work at a premier manufacturing client in Amherst, NY.Pay Rate: $19.00/hourShift: Sunday through Thursday 3rd Shift 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., TRAIN on 1st 7a-3p for about 1 monthWhat's a typical day as Machine Operator? You'll be:Operating Label Seamer machines to convert post-press product into finished goods following job ticket instructionsEnsuring machines run efficiently while producing quality productsSetting up machines to cut and rewind materials to specific customer requirementsPerforming and documenting quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specificationsRetrieving supplies and materials for daily machine operationsInspecting equipment for defects and performing maintenance as neededKeeping your workspace clean and organizedParticipating in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement eventsThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have a high school diploma or GED (required)Have 1 year of printing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred but not necessary)Possess strong math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements/conversionsAre detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructionsCan quickly learn and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environmentAre able to operate safely and efficiently while producing high-quality workCan work independently and collaboratively with a teamAre physically capable of standing for 8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing tasks such as walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and operating pallet jacksHave specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusApply now for immediate consideration
